The reason I am posting here is that I have noticed that the rlToday community has developed a high degree of expertise with MortScript for enhanced skins, which by nature touches on a some complex device issues.
I've just switched to a Samsung i760 with Verizon, and, well, "Houston, we have a problem." It seems that the BT functionality is *slightly* messed up. Read that as: FUBAR.
When more than one BT device is paired using the same function (i.e., handsfree or GPS or whatever), the service checkmark gets unchecked whenever you change connections. As an example, if you have a both a BT headset and a BT car speaker paired, both as handsfree, you should be able to just reconnect and transition back and forth between the two seamlessly. With the i760, you are forced to go into the BT screen and re-check handsfree for whatever device you currently want to use.
Major PITA. Big thread about it here, at what is currently the most active i760 forum:
http://pdaphonehome.com/forums/samsung-sch-i760/93681-multiple-bluetooth-devices-not-auto-reconnecting.htmlThe small but enthusiastic i760 community is also trying to determine the best info/launcher apps, given the unique configuration of the device (i.e., front dialpad but otherwise odd hard buttons).
It occurred to me that rlToday, and the people developing neat functions here, might provide an altogether great solution... the key aspect being the innate functionality plus the MortScipt enhancements, which is unique among comparable products (e.g., SPB, SPSH, HTC, etc.).
So... anybody have a clue as to how to fix our i760 problem?

Wrap some kind of MortScript for controlling multiple BT devices into a rlToday launcher?
Thanks,
Richard
